tak-antenna

For fans of models, and builder to boot! living in a confined space, an antenna, all things that can help greatly and which does not take too much space! To prove the lower photo is an antenna for 20 meters (14MHz) on a balcony above that of Fernand Reynaud dixit: (it does not younger!) Over a frequency! composed of 2 half waves (yes Yes! one on each side!) wound on itself in a spiral! ("T lapalisse not? You?") And fed directly by seeking agreement on the spiral with a crocodile clip, the two spirals are wound in opposition, one to the right, the other left. Course of 11 meters, it is clear that the antenna is much less room than on the picture below (1 / 2 wave 20 m = 10 m and 1 / 2 wave 11 m = 5.5 m) of course we can prune No matter what frequency on! This must be 70cm too cute! was trying to fool the tester, just for fun. Dabe As for all the additional information on this antenna a bit unusual, google is your friend (who you do not want to necessarily good!)

Project description

My research project, entitled World Literature as Process: The opportunistic movement of literature in translation , contributes to debates about the canon of world literature, to question the notion that the texts " important "or" deserving "inevitably cross borders. As noted by André Lefevere, the texts are presented in each literary system, in poetic and ideological constraints, which limits their ability to move freely. I look in particular articles from the South and East who have more opportunities reach a limited readership in the West, literary system, as Lawrence Venuti demonstrates, promotes ethnocentric designed to rewrite its own image.
On the stage of world literature, there is a tendency to expect that the writers of the South and East played the role of either the native informant providing ethnographic insights, or the writer who confirms the existence of a universal humanism. I describe how some writers of the French Caribbean, the Eastern Europe and Africa, and their translators, editors and publishers-pull advantage of these roles in order to question them from within. They are redefining their position in the West and thereby "the West and the rest" as a paradigm. The fact that these opportunities are often ephemeral means that the world literature takes the form of a process-taking place through time and space and not a product or a set of texts.

Canvas intervention

This intervention addresses the following questions: why some texts and not others circulate outside the borders of their source culture? What difficulties in this area are specific to the texts of so-called minority cultures? And what the translator can learn to make her practice? Based on my work as a translator of texts and Czech Haitian, I show how an analysis of what I call "opportunistic movement of world literature" we used to deal with pragmatic and ethical issues in the practice of translation.

Monday from 11 am to 13 pm

ENS, 45 rue d'Ulm, 75005 Paris, Salle Beckett

Spurred by a dialogue with the social sciences, ways of "doing history of literature" have greatly renewed recently, and invite us to ask ourselves the instruments, models and values which we use to give meaning to our literary past. What is an event in literature? What a century literature? Why are they the story more often domestic? Implied by a truly global perspective? What we say is that such "precursor", "contemporary" or "anachronistic"? How are born, evolve and reconfigure literary genres? Why are women virtually absent from the history of literature? According to which dynamic selections and omissions literary memory is built-it or weakens she ?

After an overall presentation, the sessions will be organized around case studies of literary change. We also host a series of conferences several visiting professorships, including Damien Zanone (professor of literature at the University of Louvain), specialist of the nineteenth century, the kind of briefs and feminine romance.

In setting words to implementation: the thought and writing in context Slippery

Wednesday, February 9, 2011, ENS Lyon

ENS Lyon, Study Day February 9, 2011 From the verbal description to implementation: the thought and writing in context
Glissant Edouard Glissant is often perceived in terms of concepts that he himself even forged. Criticism has tended to explore the "opacity" of the author. It describes his relationship with language through his project of writing "in the presence of all languages of the world" (Glissant 1996). It uses the concepts of "creolization" and "relationship" to explain his worldview.
In 1999, Celia Britton opens another way by drawing parallels between the systematic thinking Edouard Glissant and postcolonial theory, especially with the writings of Gayatri C. Spivak. In 2002, Romuald Fonkoua proposes a study on the thinking and writing glissantiennes as a measure of the world, in the context where they are built. In 2011, Alain Menil referred questions to the double critical and utopian concept of creolization in the various contexts related to its formulation, the All-Caribbean world. Still in 2011, Lambert Félix Prudent back to the origins of linguistic creolization and examines how, from a given language, Slippery forge a language and critical discourse.
The study day organized February 9 by the Laboratory "Literature and Postcolonial Studies" around these four researchers propose to consider writing Edouard Glissant not starting by itself, but by confronting it directly to its cultural, intellectual and linguistic. More than any other, the writing project is part of Edouard Glissant claimed so in a context. Edouard Glissant regains postures utterance, linguistic structures and the philosophical background and reformulating the terms before returning to the world that produced them. Glissantien topic is placed in the work of appropriation and rewriting.
Program: 10.00: Registration - Room F08 10:30 to 12:30: Project poetic utterance position, political positioning Celia Britton, University College - London: "Edward the Obscure: the poetic-cons say-no-tell" Romuald Fonkoua University Strasbourg: "New glissantiennes criticism of politics"

and postcolonial theories

Meetings of Postcolonial Literature and Theory seminar will be held Wednesday from 15h to 17h in Weil Hall at the Ecole Normale Superieure - 45 rue d'Ulm, 75005 Paris. The program is available below and on this site:

http://www.arias.cnrs.fr/seminaires/recherche/sem_Litteratures_theories_postcoloniales.pdf

This seminar proposes to address the postcolonial thinking through a strictly literary approach based on the study of individual works, and by this means revisiting the links between theory and literature in postcolonial said. The literary text appears as the privileged place where the clear enunciation and discursive complexity that postcolonial theories seek to conceptualize, and which builds a "in-between the colonizer and colonized." This seminar therefore provides a dual challenge to examine the literature to test the theory and the theory to the test literature. Our work will be located at the intersection of Indian studies, comparative literature, literature of French and English studies, and based on the outcomes of multilingual subcontinent of India is also offering "counterpoint" of readings / reviews French and English contemporaries.

The December 2010 AEM Indoor.

Aeromodeling Indoor .

Aeromodeling Indoor , means the model operating in a closed space like a gymnasium . These models are often very light and are powered by an electric motor is used thin carbon rods for orders.

The indoor flying is now an essential discipline of model airplanes, nice in the winter cold spell. It allows pilots to fly and refine their addresses control is essential in a closed environment like a gym. Technological advances in miniaturization of the various elements embedded in a model such as lithium batteries, microphones, receivers getting smaller, micro servos, but also the arrival on the market for small brushless motors weighing only a few grams allow the construction of ultralight aircraft. they are generally built depron.

The indoor has grown significantly in recent years. The planes are designed to move indoors all the 3D aerobatics.

This discipline is very popular with young drivers attracted by the so-called 3D aerobatics, well trained on simulators, they connect with spectacular aerial tricks!
